Homerton Early Years Centre – Weekly Bulletin

13th July 2022

Message from the Head Teacher:

Dear Parents,

As I walk around the school I am struck by just how much progress all the children have made during the year both in The Nest and Nursery.  All the children have grown so much in confidence. They are all able to make their needs and wants known to us, and have learnt to share and take turns with each other. There have also been many friendships made.  I would like to thank all of you, and the staff, for working with us through the year to achieve so much.  Your support has been really appreciated by us all.

Next week is our postponed ‘Goodbye event’ for children and parents, so please put this in your diaries. It is on the 20th July either at 11.00am, or 2.30pm. Nursery parents can choose to attend the session that suits them best. Nest parents please come to the morning session only.

It is due to be extremely hot next week so please dress your children in their coolest clothes and apply sun cream before school.

Medical Information: Covid levels are suddenly very high in the school again, especially in The Nest, with 4 staff off with it currently. Please support us by keeping children at home if they are unwell.
