Homerton Early Years Centre is looking for 2 Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and experienced Ofsted outstanding team, supporting children with additional needs both individually, and in small groups on a term time only basis, although there may also be opportunity to work additional hours in our holiday club.

Early Years Qualifications at Level 2 or 3 are preferable, but not essential, we would encourage the successful candidate to work towards these qualifications once with us.

The positions are as follows:-

Position 1: Monday – Friday 8.45 am-11.45 am with additional lunch cover duties until 1pm. This positon is in one of our Nursery classes working with 3-4 year olds.

Position 2: Monday – Friday 8.45 am -3.45 am with a half hour unpaid lunch break. We would consider a job share for this position if anyone is interested in working two and half days at the beginning or end of the week, Monday and Tuesday 8.45 am-3.45 pm and Wednesday morning 8.45 am-12.45 pm, or Wednesday afternoon 12.45 pm-3.45pm and all day Thursday and Friday 8.45 am -3.45 pm.

Salary range for positions is in Spinal column point 2-6 £20,441 FTE – £21,968 FTE, depending on experience and qualifications. There is also the possibility to work additional hours, if wished, in our Breakfast club, after school club or holiday club.

Homerton Early Years Centre is looking for a Lunch Supervisor to join our friendly and experienced team from September 2023.

If you like working with young children aged 3-4 and are free on to work on at least 2 days a week 11.30am-1.00pm, (we can be flexible on days) then we would love to hear from you.
• 3 hours per week
• £10.79 per hour
