Homerton Weekly Bulletin October 20th 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,

This week children have been enjoying lots of painting activities,  enjoying music, using our blocks to build the tallest towers and of course sharing lots of stories. One of these stories has been Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper, which is a great favourite and fits in with Halloween next week.

Our website has a lot of information about the curriculum and our activities so do have a look at that.

Next week is half term so the Centre is closed, apart from for children attending our holiday club. I am attaching the holiday club activity programme for the week in case you would like to do some of the ideas at home with your children.

When we return on the 1st November we will be celebrating light, and the Hindu Festival of Diwali, as well as having a small fireworks display for the children during their session on the 3rd November.  A big focus for us is on teaching children how to stay safe around fire and fireworks.

Wishing you all a very happy half term from us all

Alex
