Homerton Weekly Bulletin October 13th 2021

Dear Parents and Carers

Many of you will have met our Homerton dog Toby, who came to school with Roy this morning.  Toby, is a German Shepherd and is now 8 months old. We are hoping he will continue to make regular visits to Homerton so the children can get used to seeing a dog in the Centre.  Roy, our caretaker,  is a very experienced dog trainer and has worked for many years with Pets as Therapy dogs – so if you want any advice on anything dog related then Roy is the person to speak to.

I can’t quite believe how fast this term has gone for us all.  Just a reminder that the Centre is closed for half term from Monday 25th – Friday 29th October, unless of course your child is booked into holiday club that week.

As promised Jacqui has made a video of herself reading our Core Story of ‘Owl Babies’ so we hope you will enjoy watching it with your children.   A big thank you to Jacqui for doing this recording for us.

I would also like to thank you for all your support with keeping children who are unwell at home in current times.

As always please get in touch if you would like to speak to me, the office or class staff on any matter.

Best wishes

Alex and all the Homerton staff
