Homerton Weekly Bulletin 11th November 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,

The photos above shows ‘Whatever Next’ by Jill Murphy.  This is our ‘Core Book’ for this half of term in the Nursery classes.

We choose a special text every half term for children to enjoy and get to know really well.

There is a visual prompt sheet, being sent home on the story, so you will be able to enjoy reading this together. There will also

be three story sacks from our class library, available for children to borrow and take home. They will be put outside East, West and South classrooms on

their book borrowing days.

Unfortunately, following advice from the Local Authority, our usual Parent’s Evening cannot take place this year, so I am attaching a link to a talk on ‘How we Play and Learn at Homerton’ instead.

We hope you find the talk informative and helpful. Please do talk to class staff if you would like any additional information on this, or any other aspect of your child’s life

here at Homerton. Can I also suggest that you look at the sheet attached to the window of your child’s classroom to see photos of the room’s activities each week.
