Homerton Early Years Centre – Weekly Bulletin

6th July 2022

Message from the Head Teacher:

Dear Parents,

Today you will start to receive your children’s Special Books and Summary Reports.  The Special Books are a lovely record of your child’s time here at Homerton, it is great to see how much progress everyone has made during the year.  Today’s Really Wheelie event summed up that progress with children patiently waiting for their turn, cheering on their friends, and then  whizzing around the garden on bikes, scooters and trikes themselves.

A big thank you goes to the class staff teams for writing reports and collating special books in recent weeks. If there is anything you wish to discuss with class staff or myself then as always just get in touch.

Next week is our ‘Goodbye event’ for children and parents, so please put this in your diaries. It is on the 13th July at either 11.00am, or 2.30pm. We suggest West Room parents come to the 2.30pm session as the West Room staff are on a course in the morning and would like to be there to see you. Nest parents please come to the 11am session as children often sleep in the afternoon. South parents will need to come in the morning.

Medical Information: Covid is still with us sadly, 3 members of staff and a number of children have had it again recently. Please support us by keeping children at home if they are unwell.
