Dear Parents
We are very much looking forward to having everyone back together in the week beginning Monday 8th March.
As a welcome back and celebration of Spring we would like every family in the Centre to have a little plant to take home during the week. There will be a table with plants on outside the Nest and Nursery drop off points from Monday so please take one during the week.
Many thanks to Dong and all staff for organising and contributing plants.
Please have a look over the weekend at the video link below which will hopefully help prepare children who have been at home for coming back to Homerton. Thank you to Mitali for putting this together for us.
Just a few reminders are:-
- To bring a snack
- To dress your child really warmly
- To bring a waterproof coat
- To bring spare clothes and to ensure all clothes are clearly labelled
- To settle your child in the garden area rather than entering the classroom if possible
- For adults to wear a mask
- To leave special toys at home
Yesterday was ‘World Book Day’ so all the children here at Homerton have received a book token which can be spent at Asda, Sainsbury’s or Tesco’s currently.
For children that have been at home we have kept the tokens ready for them to have next week.
I would like to also thank everyone, staff, children and parents for all they have done to help keep everyone safe and well during this time.
We really look forward to seeing you all next week.
