Homerton Early Years Centre – Weekly Bulletin

23rd June 2022

Message from the Head Teacher: Dear Parents,

As we reach our last four weeks of term we are continuing to enjoy lots of fun activities.  This week we have had our Nursery trips to Nightingale park, a number of Reception teachers have also been visiting the children who are going into their classes in September. Next week will be the Nest trips to the allotment so let’s hope the sunny weather continues for them. Thank you to all the parents who have been helping on trips – we really couldn’t do tripswithout you.

At Nightingale Park we noticed there is an event taking place there for families this weekend so do go along to this if you are around on Saturday evening – please see the photo below.

This week we have had a number of children with high temperatures and coughs and Covid again. If your child has a temperature, or cough, please can you keep them at home so it doesn’t spread to others in the class. Thank you

The Nest has also been coping with the hot weather by doing lots of water play in the garden. Children have been enjoying painting the fences with rollers and brushes.
