Dear Parents

We have been having an exciting week with Father Christmas visiting us all the way from the North Pole on Tuesday …we shall be sending you out a Youtube link later in the week so you can get a flavour of his visits. He is returning to us tomorrow to visit children who haven’t already seen him.  A big thank you goes to our great caretaker Roy for making this event so special for the children.  None of them so far have guessed his true identity –  please continue to keep it a secret.

The Local Authority has been in touch and would like us to share with you arrangements for contact tracing at the end of term and a reminder re applications to Reception classes for September.

Important Covid-19 Information Update from the Local Authority

As you know term ends on Friday 18th December.  We have been advised to let you know the arrangements for the weekend following the 18th.

  • Where a pupil or staff member tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in school, the school should not be contacted. Parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.
  • Should your child develop symptoms between 19th – 21st December please contact head@homerton.cambs.sch.uk between 9am – 10am daily.   From 22nd December please go directly to NHS Test and Trace.

Applying for a school place – for Nursery children only

I am attaching a reminder letter about applying for a school place…please do remember to do this if you haven’t already.

Do keep an eye out for that Youtube link of Father Xmas …it is delightful.

Best wishes
