Homerton Early Years Centre Weekly Bulletin No 7 – December 5th 2019
Dear Parents,
Firstly thank you all for helping us raise a fantastic £448.00 in yesterday’s raffle which will be spent on the children having a Christmas party and our pond fund.
Next week is a busy one with our storytrail on Wednesday. Hopefully you have all received an invitation for this on your child’s peg. Grandparents, and anyone else who looks after your children, are also very welcome to come along.
Little Robin Red Vest show– also takes place later on during the morning and afternoon sessions of the 11th December (for children only). This performance is being put on by children from Morley Memorial Primary School. Our thanks go to Anna Youngs and the children from Morley.
Father Christmas will also be dropping in during the week so you may well find your children talk about this visit. We are keeping it as a surprise for the children.
18th December – Party day with food, Christmas singing and fun games – again this is just an event for the children.
New Governors – We are delighted that 3 new governors have been appointed two as parent governors and one as a co-opted governor. Between them they have a broad range of skills in marketing, early years education and health. Isa Garcia has a child in South room, Eirini Gkouskou has a child in the Nest, and Surabhi Singh has a child in West Room. Please do go and see them if there is anything you would like taken to Governor meetings or if you have any suggestions for parent/fundraising events you would like to see run here.
