Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had a very exciting week here at Homerton with our guest storyteller, Marion Leeper, telling ‘Stories in the Dark’, in her beautiful tent which just fitted into the Library!
The snow has also been enjoyed by all, and lots of children have been sliding down the hills at Homerton on tin trays. One class also managed visits to the allotment which was looking really magical.
Next week we have Sissi’s Mum, from East Room, kindly doing a Chinese dance show for us all in the Rainbow Room – your children may well talk about this event to celebrate Chinese New Year. There are also plans to cook lots of noodles in classes, and share Chinese stories.
A big thank you to Felicity and Helen for delivering their writing workshop, last week, which was a really interesting and informative session – if you have any questions about your child and writing please speak to class staff, or go and see Felicity in East Room.

A FINAL PLEA ..Please do keep your children at home if they feel unwell as we have had a lot of sickness this week and it has spread quickly, both to other children, and staff. Even if child says they want to come to Nursery an extra day at home can often give valuable recovery time and stop germs spreading.

Training Day Monday 25th February – Centre closed for staff training on ‘Planning in the Moment’.
Term restarts on Tuesday 26th February.
