Dear Parents

We hope you have enjoyed doing some the activities that Jacqui planned for your children this week.
Liz has done the planning for the coming week – see attached. I hope you and your children have fun with these Hungry Caterpillar/Eric Carle themed books and ideas.

Hopefully anyone who wanted to was able to attend our zoomed circle time sessions this week. These are now on a Thursday for the Nursery and a Friday for the Nest. They still take place at 10am. I joined in with today’s and really enjoyed ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ – thank you to Mitali and Jacqui for making these sessions so special.

For those currently attending Homerton

For those children who have returned to Homerton this week just a couple of reminders which are to bring fruit, or breadsticks etc, for snack time. If fruit already comes sealed eg bananas in their skins then there is no need for it to come in a sealed bag but please can we request original sealed bags for apples, pears, grapes etc.

Please remember waterproof coats and apply sun cream as the weather is so changeable.
Another reminder is to change clothes daily.
Please bring spare clothes in a bag, to stay on the peg for the two days that your child attends, and then take them home at the end of the second day.

Just a reminder the car park is being used for children walking in and out of the Centre far more regularly so please do not park in the carpark.

Reports, Special Books, Library books and for all children currently at Homerton or at home

We are planning to have Wednesday 8th July as the day that everyone who is currently at home is able to collect Special Books and Reports at a specific time, and also say goodbye to their class staff. For those attending Homerton the reports and ‘Special Books’ will go home on either Tuesday 7th July or Thursday 9th July, depending on which days your child attends.

PLEASE COULD EVERYONE WHO HAS HOMERTON LIBRARY BOOKS AT HOME PLEASE RETURN THESE ON THE 8TH JULY or sooner if your child is currently attending – there will be a box outside the front door for you to put library books in from next week.

Wishing you all a very happy weekend and happy mini beast hunt!

Alex and all the Homerton staff
